Many times, our perfectionism keeps us from doing things just because we believe them won’t be perfect so we avoid doing them. That’s what coach Ramón Williamson states. And that’s why he has created a method that helps us focus our efforts on our true goals.
Productivity’s greatest challenge is the lack of concentration. 80% of our results come from 20% of our efforts (Pareto Principle). Thanks to 3 to thrive you’ll find the power of focusing your attention on the 20% of the work that really matters. It’s not about knowing more, but about doing more with what we already know.
What is 3 to thrive?
3 to thrive is a system that will help you do more things while saving time, efforts and frustration. We could say these are the 3 steps you need to take to progress.
In the first place, you need to identify your SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely. Having clear goals will help you guide your work and efforts. Once you get that, you only need a few minutes every day to make it all work.
Every day make a list will all the unfinished tasks, even the ones that are not urgent, and classify them according to their priority.
- Choose the most important three and grade them from 1 to 3 from the greatest to the least degree of importance.
- Write down each goal on a separate piece of paper and stick them in a visible place like on your computer screen so you always have it at sight.
- Start with number 1 and don’t go to the next one until you have finished with the previous. Check your priorities when you finish with task 1 and then start task 2. Sometimes you may not get to task 3, but either way, you make more progress than having a huge list of unfinished tasks.
Repeat these simple steps every day and your concentration and productivity will be 10 times greater. You can also benefit from other time management methods, the most important thing for you to do is to find the formula that better fits you.
